JOB DESCRIPTION:

Manage/Oversee people/processes related to Accounts Receivable and General Accounting.Supervise the Accounting staff to ensure the accurate and timely dissemination of financial management reports including, but not limited to, internal and external monthly financial statements.Provide on-going input to key department and operational managers to ensure long term strategic focus on stability, targeted goals, and objectives.Excellent skills in month end close, ensure the accuracy of the P&L and balance sheet through a detailed review of reconciliations completed by accountants.Provide strong supervision and leadership to the accounting team, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.Oversee & process Daily Cash Reconciliation, Monthly Bank Reconciliations, & enter payroll journal entries.Monthly depreciation analysis and postingOversee all Tax calculations, remittance, filings, and tax posting payment. Including but not limited to audit management, monthly and quarterly excise tax, sales and use tax returns, Business Privilege tax and Gross Receipts tax.Support the Assistant Controller in developing controls, policies and processes.

RECOMMENDED QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's Degree with a specialization in AccountingMinimum 3-5 years of Accounting experience with progressive supervisory experience and/or equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; both verbal and written.Strong project management, time management, team building and leadership skills; ability to work independently and multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment. Expert level Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and position related software.
