Job Description:

Position Description
ERT is seeking a full-time Administrative Support Specialist to provide advanced level administrative support and analysis for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's (NOAA) National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), specifically for programs/divisions within NMFS's Office of Habitat Conservation (OHC). Duties include but are not limited to the following: designing and implementing new and novel standard operating procedures; maintaining finance and purchase records for equipment; maintaining and organizing administrative records; updating and maintaining G-suite files, databases, and spreadsheets; supporting travel-logistics, timesheets, and expense-reports for large staff workforces.

Required Skills 9+ years on-the-job experience multi-tasking, providing administrative support, and utilizing strong communication and organization skill. 4+ years Advanced Level on-the-job experience utilizing the following popular Microsoft Office and Google Suite Applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, G-Mail, G-Meet, G-Docs, G-Sheets, G-Forms. 4+ years Advanced Level on-the-job experience performing electronic file management, calendaring, and spreadsheet/database management. 4+ years Advanced Level on-the-job experience performing support functions for staff member travel, time, and expense related deliverables. 4+ years on-the-job experience managing highly detailed projects and initiatives from start to finish. 2+ years on-the-job experience providing administrative support for a workforce of 20+ people. Demonstrated ability in creating new office efficiencies by either identifying, designing, and implementing new standard operating procedures, or creating new tools/mechanisms that improve existing operating procedures. Must be able to pass a background investigation to obtain a security badge to enter applicable government facilities.

Education
AA degree, or equivalent experience.

This position is located on-site at NOAA's St Petersburg facility.
