Job Description:

Sierra7, Inc. is seeking a Configuration Analyst to join a team supporting the National Cemeteries Administration.

Position Responsibilites: Develop the Configuration Management (CM) Plan Recommended configuration items to be added to CM Responsible to ensure all system artifacts are entered into the software lifecycle management tool and that traceability from original source to passed test is recorded Using the software lifecycle management tool, manage code change documentation resulting from reported defects Ensure version control is used properly, that artifact history is maintained, and development is including comments as prescribed by standard procedures Establish standards for system environments and manage consistency between those environments to increase quality and limit risks introduced by variability Coordinate with quality assurance, product development, testing, intake, schedule, risk, and defect management, vendors, customers, and business stakeholder teams for configuration management. Audit build packages and release candidates for compliance to configuration standards Ensure software and/or software releases and patches are managed using continuous integration and industry DevOps tools Ensure that all product software and non-software artifacts are versioned correctly Ensure services conform to the identified SLA parameters Create Project and Product Artifacts baselined and versioned in the CM repository Develop, verify and submit with all project build deliveries, a Version Description Document Establish and maintain status reporting on change and configuration management activity Maintain product Component Architecture Documentation Provide Data Call Reports in response to data calls Support the creation of authority to operate data packages Support the Backup and Restore Plan documentation Update Architecture Support artifacts based on the outcome of change and configuration management processes Provide any requested customer-specific information that is integral to the delivery of services, including the configuration of Contractor core infrastructure Support the development and delivery of the version description document (VDD) Participate in requirements elaboration meetings along with ad hoc meetings Work collaboratively across the team and with the customer. Support all project reporting requirements

Requirements:
Experience supporting product applications and COTS products (e.g. application server, web server, content server, etc.) Customer-centric delivery and service skills DevSecOps experience Agile development experience Experience with AWS / Azure Experience with CI/CD tools - Jira, GitHub Familiarity with Section 508 and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) Familiarity with US Web Design patterns Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree - Computer science, electronics engineering or other engineering or technical discipline is required. 5 years of experience Experience working in VA [desired] The ability to obtain a Government clearance [required] Why Join Sierra7?
