Sierra7, Inc. is seeking an Application/Systems Analyst to join a team supporting the National Cemeteries Administration.
Position Responsibilities: Experience in managing a Windows environments Experience with Windows operating systems in an enterprise setting, Knowledge of account and authentication technologies, Familiarity with IT ticketing systems - ServiceNow Experience with Active Directory Users and Computers (ADUC) Experience with Windows patch schedule, patch testing and rollback testing, Exceptional client service and personal communication skills with a demonstrated ability to write clearly and effectively. Experience coordinating with technical and non-technical personnel in relaying and facilitating approaches Support the uptime of system operations 24x7x365. Perform activities required for providing, maintaining, securing, scheduling, backing up, recovering, and supporting inbound and outbound application interfaces (electronic data extraction and translation and load), Web services and databases.
Requirements:
Experience supporting product applications and COTS products (e.g. application server, web server, content server, etc.) Experience in scripting - PowerShell, VBScript, Windows CLI, Bash Shell, SQL, Python Windows 10 OS and web applications (HTML) Develop and maintain a CI/CD procedure following infrastructure as Code principles and ensure that all physical resources adhere to cloud compliance standards set by the Enterprise. Familiarity with cloud-based applications - Azure, AWS Customer-centric delivery and service skills Experience with SQL, MySQL Experience backing up and recovering databases Basic understanding of database security issues Usage of Wizards & GUI vs. command line Experience patching and troubleshooting Familiarity with ETL Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree - Computer science, electronics engineering or other engineering or technical discipline is required. 5 years of experience Experience working in VA [desired] The ability to obtain a Government clearance [required] Why Join Sierra7?
