CB Mining is an independent family-owned corporation that is growing. Founded in 2013 and headquartered in Washington, PA, CB Mining focuses on product support for Longwall mines. Established from part of the Caterpillar mining group, CB Mining has grown from 2 locations in Washington, PA to now 4 locations, with additions in Marion, IL and Tuscaloosa, AL, We provide customers with rebuild services, CST gearbox rebuilds, welding and fabrications services, service exchange units, custom made cabling solutions, life cycle services including oil sampling and vibration analysis, robust inventory support, compatibility services and underground technical support. We also provide extensive machining, chroming, laser cladding, and hydraulic repairs through our valued partner Cleveland Brothers. Position Responsibilities:

Performs routine procedures following written work instructions to complete manufacturing processes which may include:
- Loading machinery, positioning work, setting up jobs, adjusting and operating
machinery.
- Observes machine processing for proper functioning and production of parts or products.
- May load and unload materials, parts or products.
- Deliver parts or stock to designated work areas.
- Pack products.
- Load packaging machinery and may clean surface of machines and work areas.
- Transport equipment into the building and remove all loose parts and clean and store in the proper location.
Job Functions:
- Remove all coal and grease from equipment using shovel, pick and pressure wash, and
sandblast items.
- Haul out all dirt and place it in the proper disposal hopper.
- Ensure that all repaired equipment is painted and that all hardware is in place and ready to
ship back to the customer.
- Required to keep equipment and working area clean and neat.
- General cleaning and maintenance work on the physical plant.
- Assembles components of mechanical systems in accordance with the design specifications.
- Sets-up and tests rebuilt components.
- Powers up and powers down equipment in accordance with company policy and OSHA regulations.
- Ability to work shifts and overtime, if required.
- Cleans and organizes a safe work area.
- Writes accurate record of daily operations and material usage.
High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required.
- Must be willing to complete CPR & First Aid training.
- Qualification to operate fork trucks/tow motors is required.
- Familiarity with overhead cranes is preferred.
- Two or more years experience is preferred.
- Completion of a formal apprenticeship program or trade school is preferred.
