Job Description:

This is an on-call position with short & long-term (up to 90 days) full and part-time assignments. Flexible full and part time availability is required. Successful candidates will be scheduled to assist with various assignments throughout the Laboratory in scientific and operational departments.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Experience with relevant administrative, secretarial, or clerical work requiring the knowledge and skills necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position. Experience in office administrative support Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Excellent written and oral communication skills Ability to learn SharePoint

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
2-4 years relevant administrative, secretarial experience PeopleSoft experience highly desirable Experience arranging complex travel AAS in secretarial science or equivalent

Other Information:
This position is 100% on-site. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship Brookhaven National Laboratory is committed to providing fair, equitable and competitive compensation. The full salary range for this position is $16 - $23 / hour. Salary offers will be commensurate with the final candidate's qualification, education and experience and considered with the internal peer group.
