We are seeking a Jr. Test Engineer to coordinate with internal and external teams to execute sprint testing, manual test cases, document issues/defects in JIRA, assist in test planning and analysis, ensure 508 compliance, and identify process improvements.
Position Responsibilities: Coordinate with internal and external teams to execute sprint testing schedule Test Case Development for manual test cases/regression testing based on functional requirements Document and report identified issues/defects in tracking tools (JIRA) Assist in creation of test plans, analysis, and reporting documentation Develop products in adherence to 508 regulations and standards Analyze areas for process improvement and identify technical solutions Attend all internal and external meetings as required
Requirements:
Demonstrated success as a Test Engineer Ability to work within a team to formulate solutions to complex problems Experience with 508 compliance [desired] Experience with Jira [desired] Familiarity with SQL coding language Experience testing within cloud systems (AWS) [desired] Strong analytical capabilities and technical knowledge to assist in creation of solutions to complex problems Strong written and verbal communication skills Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in computer science, electronics engineering, or similar technical discipline Minimum of 2 year of relevant experience Experience working in VA or other Government agency [desired] Ability to obtain a government public trust clearance.
